Nonprofit
Offers More Ways to Quit Smoking
without Costly Substances or Drugs! |

Palm
Beach, Fla, August 12, 2005 - As the nation is saddened by the
sudden death of Peter Jennings by lung cancer caused by smoking,
Smoke Free Society, a nonprofit dedicated to helping smokers quit
and educating kids not to start, wants to bring more attention
to its smoking cessation plans and solutions that help smokers
quit without the use of any substance or drug.
“90%
of lung cancer deaths are caused by smoking today. And with nearly
14,000 loved ones killed by smoking each day, and 4,400 kids starting
to smoke every day, we must all work together to educate and keep
our children safe from smoking and secondhand smoke, and help
those loved ones who want to quit their tobacco addiction –
because we care,” said Rez Seyedin, founder of Smoke Free
Society.

Smoke
Free Society offers its valuable, three-step quitting plans which
include preparation, quitting and support that effectively help
smokers quit and stay quit. “We strongly believe that preparation
and support are the most important elements in successful quitting
and staying smoke free,” said Seyedin.
“We have
been told by smokers that when they have tried quitting in the past,
they were lacking good support. And without it, they would fall
back to smoking again. That’s why we incorporated three important
steps into our quitting plans – to help answer their questions
and uncertainties to prepare their mindset; to help wean them off
of the nicotine; and to give them ongoing support for as long as
they need, to help them break their habit and stay smoke free,”
added Seyedin.
“We have
learned quitting cold turkey for many smokers is done out of desperation
and without preparation and planning. And many falter because their
withdrawal symptoms are more severe than if they weaned themselves
from their cigarettes, as our quitting plans do,” said Seyedin.
The Smoke Free
Society website is a portal to an array of information and facts
to help educate everyone on the adverse effects of smoking on our
lives. It also provides a section to helps educate parents to lead
by example and not smoke and learn how to better communicate with
their kids about smoking and tobacco use.
To help a loved
one quit smoking before it’s too late, family and friends
should visit its website at: www.SmokeFreeSociety.org today!
