Did
you know,
each day over
4,400
young people will take their first puff
on a cigarette and nearly
3,000 will become regular smokers.
1 out of 3 of them will die
from a disease caused by their smoking.
Unless we do something to stop this trend,
over
5,000,000 young people
who are alive today will die from using tobacco!
Don't be a victim!
Be
cool.
Don't Smoke!

Hi,
I'm Gorilla Jack.
I would like for you to become a volunteer
and earn badges and points for this good cause.
Keep the badge and exchange the points
for prizes or scholarships! |
| |
GOOD
NEWS! Soon you will be able to earn points while helping
with this great cause. Teens should live by example and kids should
help their loved ones quit smoking!
Additionally you will be able to exchange your points for
prizes, scholarships and/or other values.
YOUNG
VOLUNTEERS WANTED
We need your help
and suggestions to
help develop an effective kids/teens section where kids help educate
kids to not smoke or dip. Please email us at volunteer@smokefreesociety.org
and let us know what you think or visit our volunteer
section and sign up to be one.
Thanks
Be cool don't smoke!

Cigarette
smoking
among African-American teens increased 56% in the 1990s.
If current patterns continue, an estimated
1.6 million African Americans who are now under the age of 18
will become regular smokers.
About 500,000 of those smokers
will die of a smoking related disease!
